Well I generally throw out these images - but I found one I had not thrown away, even though the focus was well out.

All one can say is it is better than leaving it untouched!

I selected the colour off his right forehead.

This was done by painting on the color blending duplicate layer, in Lab mode, with the desire colour and using the conversion back to RGB to add the colour back in to the blown area.  To understand this you need to read about Lab Impossible colours.
