St Nicolas Newbury - Stained Glass Windows

In England's Thousand Best Churches by Simon Jenkins, St Nicolas is only given a single star (for the windows), but what windows and it is also a beautiful church.  If you visit it, then allow at least a good hour to absorb them.

The superb windows where made by the famous Hardman & Company of Birmingham.  There is a unity of design that is not normally found in a Parish Church and some have lovely biblical scenes.
