AN EDUCATION (feature), Graphic Designer: This film is set in 1962 and because of that the majority of signs, posters, concert programmes, tickets etc. had to be produced from scratch. I also had to liaise with numerous companies to get permission to use their old logos - in the street photograph you can see a Kenwood logo that I recreated from a small advert we found in a magazine. By creating a simple image using block colour we were able to get the billboard done in vinyl, slashing its cost from about £2000 printed to around £600.
