Revisiting - Overview
I have made two decisions from all my experiments. 1/ All pieces will have the same thickness, so that it is not critical the actual thickness of the final laminate flooring I use
2/ The templates will be permanently stuck to the back of all wheels - to stop the sawdust interfering with my sanding.
I could print the wood pattern on the back of the wheel, rather than show the matt finish, as I'm using transparent film - will have to see!I now need to complete three phases before starting the build -
a) layout of the wheels and pieces. I shall ignore the position of the arbors, as that has already been decided.
I will also postpone the final decision on the frame and how the arbors are held.b) a set of instruction to follow as I cut out the pieces - to stop silly errors
c) the final templates of the pieces
